Charity Fundraising Pack, Newsletter and Report and Accounts
NCYPE (National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy) wanted to revamp their newsletter, The Voice, which is distributed and read by school governors, students, parents, medical professionals, local and national press. Their established corporate guidelines needed to be adhered to, as well as the RNIB guidelines, while moving the newsletter and the brand forwards, engaging a wide and varied audience.
The redesign added some fun into their communications, repositioning the children and their activities as the main focus by using a variety of images taken on campus. The new creative approach was very well received with compliments given from all sectors, both internally and externally, and demonstrates the professional flexibility of the charity brand. The second issue of the redesigned Voice prompted a donation of £100,000.
The brief for the fundraising pack was to entice people to get involved in raising money for the specialist charity and school. From the design of fundraising tips, A-Z of event ideas, sponsorship forms through to leaving a legacy leaflets, the pack needed to address all of the different ways to donate money, making it as easy and attractive as possible.
The report and accounts was a chance to balance the legal requirement of reporting on accounts with a showcase of the achievements of the organisation over the financial year. We created a bright engaging design adhering to established corporate guidelines and within an extremely tight deadline.
We’ve been delighted with the work Door 22 have done for us – in particular our corporate newsletter, The Voice and the prospectus for our special school. They’re very creative and easy to work with – we’d highly recommend them.
