County Sport Partnership Website Refresh

What really stood out to me with Door 22 was their desire to construct a website that really worked. I admired their perseverance in finding solutions for how certain sections would function, which wasn’t easy at times! And I was grateful for their honesty when they felt that something just wouldn’t work – it felt like they genuinely had the user’s best interests at heart, and weren’t simply trying to please us as the client.

Jo Savage, PR & Communications Officer – Active Sussex

As one of the UK’s 45 County Sport Partnerships, the priority of Active Sussex is to increase participation in sport on a local level. Funded predominantly by Sport they contribute to the government agenda of making sport accessible and inclusive.

Active Sussex’s existing site had become difficult to navigate and the rich information hidden away and not easily accessible. They appointed us to refresh the site and re-invigorate the important window to their organisation by making it more contemporary, informative, fun and responsive for different devices.

The main challenge of the website refresh was to appeal and be relevant to the many different types of Active Sussex audience, including: general sport participant, sport industry professional & education professional. We reorganised their great content with this in mind. It is a very important signposting mechanism for sport in Sussex and now acts as a very confident and intuitive way to find and participate in sports across all levels.
