Charity Runners Information and Fundraising Pack

Historically, we struggled to recruit supporters for our 5 London Marathon places. As they rolled over year after year, we found ourselves with 40 places to fill for 2015. Door 22 provided us with ideas for recruitment which we have implemented and had 33 confirmed runners. Door 22 also provided the creative for a runners pack that gave us the confidence we needed to support our valued runners. Door 22 really understood our needs and we feel that what they’ve produced has shown a real return.

With 40 gold bond places for the London Marathon it was important for the Electrical Industries Charity to get a strong participant team together. We worked with the charity on a strategy that would let them stand out from the crowd. A strategy that was in line with their values and supporters. We then needed to equip their runners with as much information as possible to make sure they got to the start line fit and healthy. We created, wrote and designed the charity runners pack to cover all aspects including nutrition, training and injury prevention. Also included in the pack was a sponsorship form and a branded sweepstake poster to help the seasoned regular charity runners with their fundraising effort.

The runners pack is a targeted return on investment information pack, harnessing the huge fundraising potential of such a major and important event.
