We came to Door 22 with a brief to refresh our newsletter and annual review, both important documents in communicating the SPANA brand to donors. The time they took to understand our audience ensured the new publications resonated with donors and helped drive wider changes in our visual identity. Door 22 worked closely with staff from across the organisation, developing a deep understanding of our work and ensuring our team felt a sense of ownership of the changes. Their strategic insight has delivered creative products that meet our brief, engage supporters and give SPANA a clear and compelling identity.

Director of Communications – SPANA

The Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad (SPANA) commissioned us to look at their Annual Review to communicate with their existing audience and also to engage new supporters. With a very targeted audience, which the charity know well, we looked at lifting the review using their beautiful photography in a way that carries a theme throughout to tell a story about the many areas and countries in which they work.

The theme ‘Making Tracks’ is relevant and personal to the organisation as an animal charity and sits well with showcasing and highlighting progress and direction through the year’s progress, results and achievements. ‘Making Tracks’ runs throughout the report with titles linked to each section and illustrates the review as a journey for the reader.
