FORWARD (Foundation for Women’s Health Research and Development) is the African women-led organisation working to end violence against women and girls, working for the day when girls from Africa can live healthy lives, live in dignity and enjoy equal rights.
FORWARD had undergone a recent brand refresh and needed to celebrate their year of success through an impact report to send to potential partners, supporters and funders.
FORWARD work strategically to challenge and support decision-makers and practitioners. They conduct community research, build partnerships and create opportunities to transform lives. With this in mind we needed to design a report that would be appropriate and engaging for these audience groups and prompt action.
We implemented the new brand guidelines into the report and brought to life the community stories and case studies using the bright and empowering colour palette, patterns and strong typography. We also developed infographics to enhance the brand styling. The charity impact report is designed as a square format and this allows it to be viewed well on screen as spreads, as well as creating an approachable and non standard format in print.
