The services we delivered for the branding and website project included:
Branding and website for a game changing mental health counselling service for young people.
During the pandemic the national youth charity Switch180 saw an increasing need for a counselling service for young people. As an organisation they turn young lives around, and when access to their other programme Snow Camp was temporarily halted during lockdown they needed to respond to the increasing demand for young people needing support.
Stop.Breathe.Think. was developed quickly by their agile and passionate team to meet that need who developed a service to provide vital free support to young people under the age of 21 access to free 1 to 1 counselling sessions, available nationally with no wait times.
The team briefed us to create a brand and website to launch the programme.www.stopbreathethink.org.uk/
The logo needed a simple expression to reinforce the powerful action statement of the name. We developed an understated soft speech bubble shape to house the name in bold typography. A soft pink was used to suggest warmth and approachability to match the service and it’s open accessible service. We were also mindful it needed to sit alongside the national charity name and another programme which meant we needed to create a solution that complimented but stood on it’s own.
Our approach to the website was mindful that it would be predominantly viewed on mobile with the audience being young people under 21. The navigation and design was stripped back and created to provide a simple uncluttered experience allowing the young person to access either useful videos and resources or to access support by booking a consultation time online.
We have worked with Emma and the Door22 team for many years. Creative, innovative end efficient, working with Door22 is always a pleasure.
